On 7 November 2025, the European Commission published its Staff Working Document evaluating the European Union Agency for Railways, confirming its essential role in delivering a safer, more interoperable and efficient European rail system.

The Agency is looking for independent experts to apply to its Call for Expression of Interest, supporting tasks that improve interoperability, safety, and sustainability in European rail.

Applicants are kindly invited to take into account these dates when submitting their applications, as they have an impact on the starting date of the assessments.
