Group of Analysts (GoA)
The Group of Analysts (GoA) is tasked by the CSM ASLP to develop proposals for improving and developing Union railway safety.
The Group of Analysts (GoA) shall submit, where necessary, proposals to the Agency on harmonised solutions to safety-related issues, using the most efficient approach to residual risk reduction and taking into account the need to ensure efficient interfaces with the other modes of transport.
Using safety data and information collected by the Information Sharing System, the GoA may submit to the Agency amendment proposals, including on the technical content of the CSM ASLP annexes. Based on these proposals, where necessary, the Agency may issue recommendations, opinions or informal safety notices.
Every year, the GoA shall submit to the Agency an activity report, which may include duly justified proposals for the improvement of the GoA working arrangements.
In this new context, the former Joint Network Secretariat is becoming one of the GoA subgroups. (see Working Arrangements for GoA subgroups description).
