ERA and VDB sign a memorandum

By signing the agreement at the VDB stand at InnoTrans 2022 in Berlin, both parties agree to put all effort into making the process of European authorisation procedures simpler and more efficient and to forcefully familiarise applicants with the processes in a constructive dialogue. Furthermore, this is the first step for ERA to become the approval body for rail vehicles.

Trackside Approval decision on the Corridor Rhine-Alpine signed

On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, Josef Doppelbauer, Executive Director of the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA), signed the decision for the Trackside Approval for Corridor Rhine-Alpine, submitted by DB Netz AG, during a ceremony that took place at ERA Stand at Innotrans 2022, in the presence of representatives from DB Netz AG and the ERTMS Coordinator of the European Commission, Mr. Matthias Ruete.
