Geir-Rune has been working as a lead auditor, performing audits and inspections of all railway undertakings and Infrastructure Managers in Norway. He is also responsible for the risk-based supervision strategy and program.

Geir-Rune holds a master’s degree in environmental chemistry. He used to work as an inspector in the Norwegian Environmental Protective Agency.
