To support the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy of the European Commission it is of utmost importance that any railway service is well connected to the other transport modes and that each parts of the European mobility system reaches its safety policy target of ‘Death toll for all modes of transport in the EU close to zero by 2050’.

To achieve this objective in the area or the Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG) services, the Agency has initiated the development of the multimodal Risk Management Platform (RMP) which aims at helping any Railway, Road or Inland Waterways actors to continuously improve safety and to avoid any preventable fatalities from an overall freight mobility perspective.

This webinar will inform on the overall policy and practical objectives, the latest progress of the TDG RMP developments and how interested actors may take up her/his role in this framework.
