Many European countries still have a large number of accidental fatalities in the railway driven by the wrong risk perception and behaviour. Although many railway professionals and companies traditionally believed (or still do!) that these accidents are inevitable, companies with a strong safety leadership demonstrated that these deaths are preventable, and it is up to the railway industry to adopt the necessary measures. This workshop will explore ways of addressing this problem.
