Valerio De Angelis is graduated in Sociology and he has been working in Italo since 2011 as Train Manager first then as Trainer for accompanying trains. Before the experience on trains, he worked for Alitalia, an Italian flights company as Cabin attendant from 1998 to 2011 and also held the position of Trainer for flight attendants.

The presentation highlights the strategy and the deployment adopted by Italo to improve the interactions between humans and the elements of the context in which they operate in order to promote the Safety Culture and increase everyone's responsibility for collective improvement.

Italo is Italy’s first private high speed rail operator. It was founded in 2006, with the first commercial service carried out in 2012. Italo operates domestic routes connecting 62 stations in 54 cities with more than 110 daily services.
