Biography

Yann Seimandi works at the European Commission on rail interoperability and safety and is responsible for technical policies related to digitalisation, ticketing, as well as to international matters. Engineer by training, Yann started his career as operational manager in charge of the maintenance, and therefore the safety, of the rail network of an hyperdense area (Paris southeast region). He also worked as lobbyist in Brussels before joining European institutions.
