Werner Matthias Ried

Biography

Werner Matthias Ried holds a doctorate in geography and is a certified safety expert (EBL) in Germany with extensive experience in cross-border rail transport and has been with DB for more than 30 years. He works full-time for DB InfraGO and in the System Pillar, Operational Design Domain. As a sideline and on a voluntary basis, he is involved in a freight transport RU and the NGO “Verkehrsclub Deutschland, VCD” for the decarbonisation of transport.
