Biography

Vladimir Alexiev, PhD, PMP has 35 years of IT experience, 20 years IT PM, and 15 years semantic integration experience. In the last 7 years he has focused on industrial data, including rail, road, OTLs, asset management, AECO, transport, logistics, dataspaces, AAS, DPP, etc.

Graphwise.ai, the result of the merger of Ontotext and the Semantic Web Company, is the largest semantic technology company in the world. We have tools for structured and unstructured data management and Knowledge Graph building, and for integration scenarios of GenAI/LLM and KGs (neuro-symbolic computing). We help major enterprises and government agencies to fulfill our motto, which is "AI thrives on whole data". Our semantic database GraphDB is replacing Virtuoso for the ERA KG, and we have participated in the evolution of the ERA Vocabulary with issue reports and improvements. GraphDB is also used in the OntoRail effort to explore and map major rail data models together.
