Biography

Vanesa Lozano has held several positions in different organisations in various domains such as onsite construction, works for rail lines, roads and water supply stations. After becoming a Doctor in Civil Engineering, in 2012, Vanesa started to work in the Ministry of Transport assigned with tasks related to rail interoperability, safety and international representation in those domains. For more than 13 years, Vanesa has been working in these matters mainly focused on the issuing single safety certificates to railway companies and their supervision. Currently, she continues learning on these topics committed to make a much safer railway system.
