Biography
Thomas joined the railway sector as a physicist in 1999 at DB. He worked in vehicle technology, managed the procurement of the second class of tilting ICE trains at DB and worked since 2014 in the area of testing, assessment and authorization of railway vehicles. In 2022 Thomas became the chief expert on vehicle authorization at DB Systemtechnik and DB. For these topics he represents CER in several European working groups and the ERJU project TRANS4M-R developing the digital automated coupler and the full digital freight train.
