Biography

Silvia possesses an MSc in Telecommunication. She is specialized in Railway systems having worked in the sector for more than 20 years. She has participated in working groups defining ERTMS/ETCS specifications and has collaborated into placing in service ERTMS/ETCS in Spain. Ms Dominguez is the technical lead of the ‘ERTMS and digital improvements Deployment Management Team’ for the European Commission. Since the launch of the System Pillar (SP), she is a member of the SP Core Group.
