Biography

Nicola Furness is Network Rail’s Engineering Expert (CCS). She has extensive experience in CCS and has specialised in ERTMS, playing a leading role in the deployment of ERTMS in Great Britain. She also leads Network Rail’s CCS R&D Programme T190plus. She leads Network Rail’s input into European forums on ERTMS and is an authorised speaker on ERTMS for EIM.
