Biography
Nelson Oliveira is a chartered Civil Engineer, having worked in structural engineering, maritime, and rail engineering and planning. Nelson has been leading the Portuguese independent rail accidents investigation body since 2013. He has also been the Chair of the European Network of National Rail Accidents Investigation Bodies (NIB Network) since 2020.
