Biography

Gemma Salazar Luque began her career in Transportation in Spain in 2003, later moving to France to take on several roles in the Technical Directorate. In 2017, she became Technical Director of the Mainline Business Line, leading major digitalization efforts in signaling. A year later, she joined the Business Line Headquarters in Germany to steer Strategy and Product Policy, shaping the digital transformation roadmap. In 2021, her scope expanded to include Marketing and Communications. Since December 2025, she has been responsible for the evolution of the Hitachi Rail global portfolio.
