Biography

For 11 years he is working for Italcertifer (NoBo, Accredited Laboratory, …) starting as an assessor of dynamic and aerodynamic of vehicles and now mainly managing the issuing of certificates by IT tools and the relationships with railway stakeholders. Previously he has worked 12 years in railway engineering university research being involved in: European projects; impact assessments; training courses; design of measurement systems for IMs and industry; studies and investigations for the Italian National Investigation Body.  

The NB-Rail Association is an international non-profit organization of the Third-Party Conformity Assessment Body (Notified Body (NoBo), Designated Body (DeBo), Assessment Body (AsBo), Entity in Charge of Maintenance – Certification Body (ECM-CB)) in the European railway sector. The Association was initially set up to support and complement the activities of the NB-Rail Coordination Group, and over time has extended its scope to cover the whole framework of assessment in the railway sector.
