Biography

Beatrijs Claeys worked several years in the railway sector in which she took up different operational positions related to railway safety. From 2004 onwards she worked within the Belgian National Safety Authority, where she mainly performed supervision activities. As a senior auditor she cooperated with the different account holders to ensure a harmonized application of the Belgian’s maturity model “safety management practices”. Since October 2023 she works for ERA at SAFO Unit where she is working on several projects, such as the working party TSI OPE, safety certification projects and NSA Monitoring.
