Unilateral Approval

For the carriage of radioactive material, means an approval of a design which is required to be given by the competent authority of the country of origin of the design only. If the country of origin is not an RID Contracting State, the approval shall require validation by the competent authority of an RID Contracting State (see 6.4.22.8).
