Receptacle

A containment vessel for receiving and holding substances or articles, including any means of closing. This definition does not apply to shells (see also "Close cryogenic receptacle", ``Open cryogenic receptacle", "Inner receptacle", "Pressure receptacle", "Rigid inner receptacle" and "Gas cartridge").
