Quality assurance method

Method applied to qualify, verify or validate the implementation of requirements in order to focus on error prevention rather than on error detection. EXAMPLE: Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), failure mode, effects and criticality analysis (FMECA), quality function deployment, design reviews, finite element analysis. Note 1 to entry: Quality assurance method can be used, for example, in design and development.
