Private rail infrastructure with restricted access

Privately owned rail infrastructure, including sidings, used by the owner or by an operator for the purpose of their respective freight or passenger activities with restricted access for other operators. Often constructed solely to serve mines, forests or other industrial or agricultural installations. They are excluded both from ‘heavy rail’ and ‘other rail’ statistic.
