Metro line/subway

An electric rail line mainly for urban transport with the capacity for heavy volumes of traffic involving very frequent train movements. Metro lines are also characterised by closely spaced stations. Also known as ‘subway’, ‘metropolitan railway’, ‘rapid rail’, ‘rapid transit’, ‘metro’ or ‘underground’. These metro lines are excluded from tracks and lines.
