Lead Railway Undertaking

Applicant/RU, which is responsible to organise and manage the transport line according to the customer’s commitment. It is the single point of contact for the customer. If more than one Railway Undertaking is involved in the transport chain, the LRU is responsible for the coordination of the various Railway Undertakings on the harmonization of train’s journey including the various path requests.
