Age of vehicle

Age of vehicle is the length of time after the first registration of the goods road vehicle, irrespective of the registering country. The reporting of vehicle age data by countries follows specific age group classifications, which are defined as follows: Less than 2 years Between 2 and 5 years (2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years) Between 6 and 9 years (6 years, 7 years, 8 years, 9 years) From 10 to 14 years 15 years or over Unknown Vehicles with an age that includes fractions of a year must be assigned to the full-year category e.g., a vehicle with an age of 5 years and 9 months is considered a 5-year-old vehicle.
