The Agency has introduced RSS feeds on its website, enabling users to subscribe to the content that interests them and receive updates automatically without needing to browse the site.

In response to regular requests from its users, the European Union Agency for Railways is happy to announce the introduction of RSS feeds on its website, offering a simple and efficient way to stay up to date with the content that matters most to you.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a well-established and widely used technology that allows users to subscribe to specific website content and receive updates automatically. Rather than regularly browsing the ERA website, you can now have the following publications delivered directly to your preferred application:

How to use RSS feeds

There are free and open-source applications specifically designed to read RSS feeds, such as NetNewsWire, RSS Guard, QuiteRSS or Feeder. Most email clients also support RSS feeds. Here is how to use them with Microsoft Outlook.

  1. Copy the RSS feed link
    1. Navigate to the section of the ERA website you are interested in
    2. Locate the RSS feed link
    3. Copy the URL
  2. Add the feed in Outlook
    In Outlook:
    1. Go to File
    2. Click Account Settings → Account Settings…
    3. Open the RSS Feeds tab
    4. Click New…
    5. Paste the RSS feed URL
    6. Click Add and confirm
  3. Access your updates
    1. A dedicated RSS Feeds folder will appear in your mailbox
    2. New content will be delivered automatically
    3. You can read updates directly within Outlook
