Roland holds a Master in Business Information Systems and a PhD in Management. He is CEO of Consilis and Partner of Theron Advisory Group where he focuses on interim-management and IT-based business ecosystem transformations in multi-modal logistics systems. For almost a decade he is supporting UIRR in various multi-modal EU projects (e.g. ELETA, PLANET, EDICT), digital transformation initiatives and sector IT architecture design challenges.

Consilis is a consulting organisation fostering client’s innovation and digital transformation in health, energy, logistics and engineering business ecosystems.
International Union for Road-Rail Combined Transport (UIRR) is the industry association for the sector of Combined Transport in Brussels.  Its members are Combined Transport Operators and Combined Transport Terminals.
