And that's a wrap for the Rail Data Forum 2025 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania! Over the past three days, the conference brought together around 140 passionate rail and data experts from across Europe. 

What happens when that much expertise meets in one place? Innovation. Insight. Impact. From plenary sessions with top-level speakers to 7 workshops and 4 masterclasses, participants explored everything from ontology design and SPARQL to vehicle-data exchange and the European Mobility Data Space. 

The main takeaway: data is not just a tool, it must be considered as a strategic asset and taken into consideration to build a modern and sustainable European railway system. The present of rail – not only its future - is digital.
