With a background in Computer Science and Product Development Management, Nico started his career at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs working as a Research Engineer in the telecommunications sector. In 2012 he joined Thales and the Railway Signalling industry and has since been responsible in various roles for developing the Product and Technical Strategy, first for Interlocking and then, for the overall Railway System (ETCS/CCS). Since 2021 he is a member of the ERJU System Pillar Coregroup supporting the ambition for further harmonization of the European Railway System.

Workshop 9: CCS Target and migration - the EU-RAIL System Pillar Approach

This workshop will be an interactive session setting out the proposed target for CCS evolution from EU-RAIL System Pillar – both for trackside and onboard – for discussion and input from the participants.
