Marco Caposciutti is the Technical Director of Trenitalia since 2012. Prior to this position, he has held executive positions in Trenitalia, as responsible for the Frecciarossa high speed train services and as responsible of Maintenance in the Freight Division. He started his career in Trenitalia in 1993 as an engineer employed in the Technical Department. Mr Caposciutti is involved in international organisations regarding railway – he is the chairman of the Rolling Stock Sector of the UIC since 2015 and he is a member of the Organising Committee for World Railway Research Congress.
