Summary of decisions

The Management Board (MB) adopted:

  1. The minutes of the 54th Management Board meeting of 25 November 2020

  2. Re-election of Ms Clio Liégeois as Chairwoman of the Management Board for a second mandate of four years

  3. DECISION n° 256  of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Railways appointing a member of the Executive Board

    In its meetings of 18 March 2021, the Board appointed Ms Paloma Iribas (Spain) of the Executive Board.

  4. DECISION n° 257  of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Railways adopting the annex 2 template for the impact assessment methodology

    The Agency Regulation (EU) 2016/796, in its Art. 8, paragraph 1, requires that “The Agency shall conduct an impact assessment of its recommendations and opinions. The Management Board shall adopt an impact assessment methodology based on the methodology of the Commission […]”.

    This Decision amends annex 2 for the impact assessment methodology reflecting the Agency IMS procedure amendment related to signatures.

  5. DECISION n° 258  of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Railways establishing procedures for decision-making by the Executive Director in relation to authorisations for placing vehicles on the market, single safety certificates, and ERTMS track-side approvals – repealing MB Decisions n° 194, n° 209, n° 219 and n° 234

    MB Decision n°194 (as amended by MB Decisions n°209, 219, 234) establishes procedures for decision-making by the Executive Director in relation to authorisations for placing vehicles on the market, single safety certificates, and ERTMS track-side approvals.  The Management Board updated the decision to include:

    • Update the name of the relevant Head of Planning and Approvals Delivery Unit, Planning and Approvals Delivery Unit
    • Repeal of MB decisions 194, 209, 219 and 234
    • Expiration date of the decision from the end of 2021 to the end of 2022
       

  6. DECISION n° 259  of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Railways adopting the reply to a complaint received under article 90 of the Staff Regulations

    As the content of this decision is confidential, it will not be published on the Agency website.

  7. Agreed to meet on 6 July 2021 by videoconference, until further notice
