IPA Seminar "Basics of Railway accident investigation"

In December 2023 ERA and the European Commission's Directorate General DG ENEST signed a three years’ contract "EU support on transposition and implementation of the EU railway acquis by the European Union Agency for Railways". Under this Agreement, the EU candidate and potential candidate countries (Serbia, Turkey, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo* and Albania) will benefit from support of ERA. In this context, ERA, the Transport Community and the Spanish Commission for Raiway Accident Investgation (Comisión de Investigación de Accidentes Ferroviarios) will co-organize a Seminar "Basics of Railway accident investigation".

The planned seminar will help to introduce newcomers to the methodologies of railway incident and accident investigation.
