IPA Accident Investigation Training

At the beginning of December 2019, ERA and the European Commission's Directorate General DG NEAR signed a three years’ contract "Continuation of support to the IPA II beneficiaries by the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) 2020 – 2022". This contract has been extended to the end of 2023.
In this context ERA organises an accident investigation training. This training will be split in 2 days.
- On Day 1 accident investigators of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey will have the option to refresh their knowledge about accident investigation methodologies and exchange on best practices in railway incident and accident investigation.
- On Day 2 the experts of the region will benefit from an introduction to digital forensics.
This training will be in person, organised in Split, Croatia. More information about the venue will be communicated to registered candidates.
