The EUAN Diversity & Inclusion Awards celebrate initiatives that:
ERA is very proud to be on the list of recognised EU organisations and to have received a certificate of excellence for the Cultural shift achievement linked to the Women in Rail Award 2025 initiative.
The Women in Rail Initiative is a sector-wide event, jointly organised by the European Commission’s Women in Transport Platform, European Union Agency for Railways (ERA), Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking (EU-Rail), Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER), Association of European Railway Industries (UNIFE), European Rail Infrastructure Managers (EIM), and Federation of European Train Drivers’ Union (ALE). The initiative aims to foster gender mainstreaming by celebrating impactful actions that address the historic gender imbalance in the railway sector with an organisational culture change approach in mind.
