On the International Women's Day, ERA joins fellow EU agencies and joint undertakings in a declaration against sexual harassment at the workplace. In accordance with French law and the staff regulation, the Agency adopts a zero tolerance policy towards any acts of sexual harassment, and will prosecute such acts to the full extend of the law.

As stated in the joint declaration, ERA is fully committed to the European values of equality, and encourages staff to immediately report any cases of sexual harassment and/or bullying, as they are matters of health, safety and well-being.

In order to promote female leadership and gender balance in the European rail sector, the Agency became co-signatory of the recently launched Women in Transport - Platform for Change, initiated by Commissioner Bulc.
