DECISION n° 263 of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Railways adopting an opinion on the annual accounts 2020

The budget of ERA for the year 2020 was established in compliance with the principles of unity, budget accuracy, annuality, equilibrium, unit of account, universality, specification, sound financial management and transparency as set out in the ERA Financial Regulation.

The annual accounts 2020 of the Agency have been prepared in accordance with the Title IX of the Financial Regulation applicable to the general budget of the European Union and in accordance with the accounting rules, and the accounting principles and methods.

The Management Board gave a positive opinion considering that the ERA accounts, taken as a whole, and drawn up under the responsibility of the Agency’s Executive Director, reflect the implementation of the Agency’s 2020 budget and the activities undertaken by it during this year.

This Decision was adopted by written procedure.
