Dr. Haj-Bolouri holds a PhD in Information Systems with a specialisation on Work-integrated learning and is currently an associate professor of Information Systems at University West in Sweden and a docent in Information Systems at University of Jyväskylä in Finland. His research includes Design Science, Virtual Reality, Work-integrated Learning, and philosophy. Amir is also the program director of the bachelor’s program in Informatics at University West and the president of SIGPrag (Special Interest Group of Pragmatist Information Systems Research).
