On 22 October 2026, ERA and the Department of Railway Authority of the Ministry for Transport and Public Works of Hungary jointly organise the 14th ERA Budapest Workshop.
This year’s workshop features presentations delivered by the Executive Director and experts from the European Union Agency for Railways, alongside representatives from the EU Directorate General for Mobility and Transport and distinguished speakers from National Safety Authorities and European railway organisations.
The theme of the workshop is: "Advancing Rail Safety and Interoperability through the 4th Railway Package".
The workshop starts with a morning plenary session. After a lunch break, the workshop continues in two sections:
Participants are able to choose which presentations to attend in the afternoon, with seamless transitions arranged between sessions.
Participation is free of charge but subject to registration (still possible today 22 October)
