Biography
Maarten works in railways and public transport since 2002, first as a signalling projects engineer at SNCB and Infrabel, later as a safety and interoperability manager at MIVB/STIB, Bane Danmark (Signalling Program), Infrabel and finally at SNCB again. In May 2021, he joined ERA, first at the vehicle authorisation team (automation of C2T), and from 2023 onwards for the Operational Data Unit (registers migration). He has a MScEE from ESAT, KULeuven, Belgium.
