Biography

I am a Computer Science engineer, working in the railway sector for the last 18 years. As part of RNE Joint Office, since 2021, I am in charge of the Railway Infrastructure System (RIS) that contains the railway infrastructure data needed for all RNE applications, from the CRD to the Capacity and Operations applications. The system is also been developed to use RINF in the near future as the only source for regulated railway infrastructure data.

RailNetEurope (RNE) is an association of railway Infrastructure Managers, set up to help meet the challenges faced by the international rail sector.  RNE facilitates the operational international business of its Members by providing solutions that benefit all RNE Members as well as their customers and business partners. RNE’s role is also to provide support as regards compliance with the European legal framework. This entails developing harmonised international business processes, templates, handbooks, and guidelines.
