HOF in SMS Training
This training is designed to help railway infrastructure managers and railways undertakings integrate Human and Organisational Factors (HOF) in their Safety Management System (SMS).
Safety is not just about rules and procedures, but about people. Every decision made, every action and mistake in your company is shaped by human and organisational factors. That’s exactly why this training is meant to help you understand HOF and build within your team a culture where people feel empowered to speak up, learn and improve, boosting safety performance. You will be equipped with key models such as the 5X5 model and practical tools to apply human and organisational concepts in everyday operations.
Whether you are a manager in charge of training, monitoring or investigation activities, this training will help you achieve better safety results in your team.

What I liked most is the practical part with examples and group discussion.
I found particularly useful the process of identifying the causes of the accident, along with what each human link in the chain that caused the accident did wrong.
