Trans European Network for Transport (TEN-T)

TEN-T is a European Commission policy. The aim of the TENT Regulation is to build an effective EU-wide and multimodal network of rail, inland waterways, short sea shipping routes and roads which are linked to urban nodes, maritime and inland ports, airports and terminals across the EU. It's divided in 3 layers core network, extended core network and Comprehensive network with different timelines for reaching the infrastructure requirements, being 2030, 2040 and 2050.
