Degree to which a set of inherent characteristics (3.10.1) of an object (3.6.1) fulfils requirements (3.6.4) Note 1 to entry: The term “quality” can be used with adjectives such as poor, good or excellent. Note 2 to entry: “Inherent”, as opposed to “assigned”, means existing in the object (3.6.1).
