Eight disciplines (of problem solving) 8D

Team-oriented and systematic approach defining a sequence of steps to resolve problems in products, services and processes. Note 1 to entry: Its purpose is to identify, correct and eliminate recurring problems. Note 2 to entry: The 8D problem solving model establishes a corrective action based on the analysis of the problem and focuses on the origin of the problem by determining its root causes. Note 3 to entry: The 8D model can be reduced to four steps (4D).
