Commitment coordinator

Note 1 to entry: With the static two-phase commitment procedures, the commitment coordinator will be at the root of the transaction tree. If the static one-phase commitment procedures are in use in the transaction tree, the commitment coordinator will either be a leaf node or an intermediate node. With the dynamic two-phase commitment procedures, the position of the commitment coordinator may be predetermined or may be determined dynamically.
