Data and Information Analysis

A broad range of analytical support activities is provided across the Agency, the European Institutions, and railway sector stakeholders. These activities include: 

1. Supporting ERA staff in drafting and analysing high-quality surveys
2. Conducting in-depth studies on selected topics
3. Supporting ERA staff with ad-hoc data analysis requests
4. Maintaining the Railway System Data Inventory (RSDi)
5. Contributing to railway data and statistics forums (e.g. RMMS, UNECE, PRIME, Eurostat), ensuring alignment with and awareness of ERA initiatives in this field
