TSI Workshop in Athens, Greece

On 4-5 March 2026, ERA delivered a workshop on Technical Specifications for Interoperability in Athens. This activity was part of the action plan on "Technical Support to Railway Safety and Interoperability in Greece" which was delivered by ERA is delivering and is and funded by the EU. 

In this workshop, that brought together staff members of the main Greek railway stakeholders, ERA provided an insight on key aspects of Railway Interoperability, and especially the Technical Specifications of Interoperability, as a backbone of the Single European Railway Area, including:

• The condition for upgrade and renewal of fixed installations (Energy and Infrastructure Subsystems);
• Rolling Stock;
• Telematic Applications and Registers;
• Control Command and Signalling (ERTMS);
• Authorisations under the 4RP;
