Biography

María José García is a railway professional with more than of 20 years’ experience. She is currently working on FRMCS and Train Positioning topics at the ERTMS Unit (ERA) and collaborating in Vehicle Authorisation and Trackside Approval activities. Her background is mostly in ERTMS/ETCS, radio communications and satellite positioning for railways, but also in transversal topics as safety and innovation management. She has held several positions in companies such as Ineco, Cetren, Telespazio and Indra, before joining the Agency in 2022.
