Jindřich Kušnír is the director of Rail Transport Department in the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. He has been in charge of railway development by addressing relevant issues for many years in his current and also previous positions. He is currently a member of Railway Interoperability and Safety Committee of the European Commission and also a member of the Administrative Board of the EU Agency for Railways.

ERTMS Implementation on the Czech Railway Network

The presentation will be held together with Mr. Radek Cech, Sprava zeleznic, the Czech Republic. The aim of the presentation is to show the overall ERTMS strategy, the progress made in CZ in ERTMS track-side and on-board implementation, including the preparation of the ETCS-only operation on the Czech network, financing schemes for the RUs and practical experience from the infrastructure and operational point of view.
