ERA at TRAKO 2025

From 23 to 26 September 2025, the Agency attended one of the largest rail events in Central Europe in Gdańsk, Poland.
ERA continued a long-standing tradition by attending one of the largest rail events in Central Europe: the TRAKO fair, which took place from 23 to 26 September 2025 in Gdańsk, Poland. ERA once again teamed up with the Polish National Safety Authority (UTK - Urząd Transportu Kolejowego) who in the spirit of European cooperation kindly hosted ERA activities.
TRAKO is one of the largest rail exhibitions in Europe, set in a true railway country with the second largest rail freight market in the EU (Railway factsheets, 2024).
On 23 September, ERA’s Executive Director, Oana Gherginescu, participated to the opening panel of the TRAKO conference programme, and visits the TRAKO fair to meet key stakeholders from industry and politics.
